And more than that, not all of us have time to add ‘learning photography’ to our already giant to do lists. You might not have the eye for photography but that doesn’t mean you can’t still use powerful, beautiful, clean or simple images on your blog today. And even better than that, you can use images on your blog for free.
I am going to share with you 18 places that you can find awesome stock photos for your blog, but I am also going to share a few tips with you how you can use stock images in a unique way. Now you might notice that popular stock images get used over and over again, and when you use them your graphics and posts no longer look unique. If you want things to stand out, you still want to be using unique graphics. In order to make stock photos look custom and unique for you, do some digging. Here’s my top 3 tips for using free stock images in a new and unique way!
- The power of cropping! Make sure to crop the images. If you see an aspect of an image you like, just use that image. Crop and use images to your advantage.
- Do some digging. My favorite place to go digging for stock images in UnSplash. They have awesome galleries that other people have put together and I have been able to use those collections to find images I love.
- Always be on the lookout for new images to use. Be up to date when new images get added!
