Welcome back to the blog, today I’m sharing the top Pinterest Trends of October to help you plan a month’s worth of content in only 30 minutes. This is my ultimate Pinterest growth hack for 2024.
My goal with these posts is to help you plan a month’s content using topics your audience is already searching for on Pinterest. When you use Pinterest trends to create content, you’ll reach your target audience 10x faster.

Disclaimer: If you’ve seen your Pinterest traffic decrease this year, don’t be alarmed! Pinterest is updating its pinning system to simplify things and bring back the ‘standard’ pin type. Whenever Pinterest makes these big changes, it’s normal to see decreases. Keep pinning, keep creating, and make sure that you utilize these trends.
(Hopefully, I’ll be able to take that disclaimer out soon! Only two of my clients have moved to the ‘new’ pinning system so it’s definitely a slow rollout. While you wait, just keep pinning and blogging consistently.)

Remember, Pinterest trends tend to start 20% earlier than other platforms and sustain 21% longer. That means it’s OK to use trends from previous months and take inspiration from those trends to apply to things trending now.

At this point, I’m sure that I sound like a broken record… But from now until January – it’s the busy season on Pinterest. This is the time of year when people are putting up new decorations every month as they prepare for the 3 biggest holidays of the year. For the home decor niche, that means it’s holiday time! You should already be sharing fall and Halloween content, but note that it’s already time for Christmas.
