I just want to remind you that Pinterest has changed a lot in recent years. It’s becoming harder and slower to grow on this platform. Sadly, the days of popping in once a week, sharing your latest blog, or scheduling out posts for weeks at a time, are gone.

That’s almost nothing, I know! But really the biggest day in July for Americans is the 4th of July. That’s what you’re going to see a lot of content around at the start of July. Definitely get posting your own 4th of July content NOW. And a fun International holiday happening in July that I found is the International Chicken Wing Day. This can be a great feature for many niches!

This year we’ve seen men’s fashion and outfits trending a lot more on Pinterest. This is great because we’re also seeing more and more men on the platform! If you can post about men’s fashion, do! Other things we’re seeing trending on Pinterest for fashion bloggers right now are:

Keep bringing summer styles, prints, and accessories into your guides on Pinterest right now. We’re also seeing a lot of searches around travel, mainly in Europe and on cruises! Use that to your advantage as well.
Food and drinks trends on Pinterest in July 2022
Last month I reminded you that summer BBQ season is upon us. That is very much still the case so make sure that you are promoting any and all content around BBQs. But also make sure that you’re creating recipes with fresh, summer ingredients!

Of course every month we see hair and nails as the main things trending in our Beauty niche on Pinterest. This month really focuses on shorter hairstyles and longer nails. That seems to be the direction that people are taking with their 2022 beauty.

Lifestyle content on Pinterest is always a lot of home decor. But you can basically work so many of these niches into your content if you fall under the ‘lifestyle’ category. If you’re in the lifestyle niche, try to work on these topics in July 2022.
